Early in his career, Dr Pras realised that to become the best urologist he could be, he would need to train under the best urologists in the world.
So he decided he would work towards earning a place at New York’s famed Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
The journey would take five years. Five years of careful planning, hard work and determination.
Pras pushed himself, relearning topics like biochemistry, genetics and psychiatry in order to pass the three-part US Medical Licencing Exam.
Over time, he steadily built a research portfolio strong enough to compete with applicants from the best US institutions.
The hard work paid off, as it led to offers for interviews at multiple major hospitals throughout the United States.
In July 2014, Pras hopped on a plane once again, but this time to take up his role as a Fellow in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
At Precision Urology, we understand that success requires hard work.
We understand that excellence must be maintained, not just achieved.
As a patient of this practice, rest assured that you will always receive the highest quality of care.
