Dr Pras Sivam

Dr Pras Sivam (Prassannah Satasivam) is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Member of the Society of Urologic Oncology.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and supervises research students through the University’s MDRP program. His other roles include serving as the Urological Society representative on the Movember BroSupPORT Steering Committee, and as Urology Training Supervisor at Northern Health.
Pras grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Haileybury College as Dux of the School in 1998. He was admitted to The University of Melbourne Medical School with a tertiary entrance rank of 99.95. After completing his postgraduate surgical training in Victoria, he accepted a prestigious Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. This gave him formal training in robotic surgery and exposure to a high volume of complex cancer cases.
Pras offers general urologic services with a subspecialty focus in open and robotic surgery for cancers of the prostate, kidney, bladder and testis. He consults privately in Camberwell, Carlton North, Mount Waverley and Epping. He operates predominantly at Epworth Richmond and Freemasons Hospitals, and Cabrini Hospital in Malvern. Bulk-billed patients have access to waiting lists at the Royal Melbourne and Northern Hospitals.
